Bad crohnie night. I start my Humira tomorrow Hopefully it’s my miracle drug. Does anyone take Humira for crohns ? Any tips or tricks ? I’m really nervous and scared at the same time . I just pray this works .

I’ve been on Humira for almost two years now, and while I’m afraid I can’t promise a miracle drug, it is so much better than anything I’ve ever had before (and I’ve pretty much been through the lot). For the majority of the time, I can actually DO stuff, I’m not up all night, I can go out and not worry, it is so much better. You have off days, but they’re the exception not the rule. You do have to be very careful around ill people, as even a simple cold can completely knock you out, but it’s really a small price to pay. Tips - take it out of the fridge 15 mins before, it hurts less! Also, invest in a bruise soother pack to put on straight after, it helps with any possible swelling! Don’t worry if it doesn’t work right away, it took a few doses for it to kick in properly. Best of luck!!
